Why learn in an automatic?
Automatic lessons let you focus entirely on road awareness, observation and technique. Instead of juggling the clutch and gearstick at a busy junction, you can concentrate on reading the road, judging gaps and making safe decisions. It is a popular choice for nervous learners and for anyone who has struggled with a manual car.
North London roads are busy. Stop-start traffic on the high streets around Wood Green and Enfield Town is far less tiring in an automatic, which means you can spend more of each lesson learning and less of it stalling.
How the lessons work
Gokhan follows a by-the-book method that sticks closely to the Highway Code and DVSA standards. Your first lesson starts with an assessment of where you are now, and every lesson after that builds on the last:
- Controls, moving off and stopping in quiet roads
- Junctions, roundabouts and busier roads, explained with Gokhan's visual diagrams
- Manoeuvres, independent driving and dual carriageways
- Mock tests on the roads around your test centre
Things to know about an automatic licence
